I serve as a Server Infrastructure Lead—a role bridging hybrid cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, and operational reliability.

My career spans the spectrum from deep hands-on systems architecture to technical leadership. Over the years, I’ve worked across roles as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), Engineering Manager, and Director of Engineering. Throughout these positions, my focus has remained on designing dependable systems, scaling core enterprise infrastructure, and championing robust observability and automation.

Core Focus & Architecture

  • Enterprise Hybrid Cloud & Windows Infrastructure: Designing, securing, and scaling core enterprise systems across Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, and Hyper-V (AZ-800 certified). Extensive use of Bicep and ARM templates for Azure Infrastructure as Code (IaC), combined with PowerShell for deep configuration management, automation, and systems orchestration.
  • CI/CD & DevSecOps: Designing and maintaining robust deployment pipelines with a strong foundation in Azure DevOps and modern workflows in GitHub Actions. Focusing on DevSecOps best practices—integrating security gates, policy enforcement, secret management, and compliance directly into automated build and release cycles.
  • Linux Systems Engineering: Extensive personal and professional Linux experience across enterprise environments (including Red Hat Enterprise Linux / RHEL) and Debian-based systems. Experienced in systems administration, infrastructure automation, and scripting with Python and Bash.
  • Site Reliability Engineering & Observability: Deep background in SRE practices—architecting comprehensive observability pipelines, telemetry metrics, and actionable alerting to drive system availability, fault tolerance, and incident post-mortem rigor.
  • Modern Edge & Cloud Exploration: Hands-on exploration and implementation in Go, containerization (Docker), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and distributed edge delivery (Cloudflare Pages, Workers, and edge routing).
  • Engineering Leadership: Aligning platform engineering roadmaps with business goals, establishing operational discipline, and mentoring engineers through complex infrastructure and cloud transformations.

Background

I hold a B.S. in Computer Science from Stony Brook University and have spent over two decades engineering systems, networks, and cloud platforms.

I am passionate about the intersection of classical systems engineering, robust telemetry, and modern edge architectures—navigating how foundational infrastructure principles apply to next-generation distributed systems.
